Game Night/Mental Health Training

Did you know that there are 121 suicides per day on average? Over 22 veterans commit suicide every day, 12 teenagers commit suicide every day which amounts to 4,200 teen suicides a year and there are over 575,000 youth suicide attempts each year.

These numbers are staggering - today’s culture is inundated with anxiety, and depression - it’s an epidemic and we want to do something about it.

We are going to be doing a training that will prep us for the iSeekers event in August in addition to a fun game night. If you’re interested in addressing and helping this major issue, please join us!

$10 covers food/snacks/drinks/candy

Suicide Prevention Workshop

We are on the cutting edge of culture and we are raising up an army of everyday people who are prepared and equipped to combat suicide. In this workshop we will be addressing issues that relate to our culture today; the differences between suicide prevention, intervention & postvention and how they relate to your own life. We will also give opportunities for you to practice what you’ve learned and how to apply it practically in your own life both professionally and personally. We will also address; what to do when you are required to report a person who is at risk of suicide but still need to maintain your trust relationship with them. These are only a few of the topics we will be covering so you’re NOT going to want to miss this event.

Tragically, the harvest of suicidal people is plentiful, but the laborers are few! While most recognize there is an urgent problem, only a few will take the necessary step to do something about it and become a part of the solution. Why not you?

Become a member of our Seekers Suicide Intervention Corps and join us in changing the world one life at a time.

Space is limited so please don’t wait to register! We will provide drinks & snacks and a working lunch on both Friday & Saturday. Please don’t miss this amazing opportunity.

Our August workshop is just two (2) days; $60 includes materials, and lunch both days:

Friday 8/9 –  9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Saturday 8/10 – 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
